A Peek at This Week
We've had a whirlwind week in Sr. K! We've practiced hard for our play everyday. In Language we finished up the alphabet!! Woohoo!! In Math we continued our chapter on Money. Thank you to Kabien for bringing special cookies and treat bags for his Star Student weeks.
Looking Ahead
Our Thanksgiving Play and Feast went off without a hitch! Thank you to all of you that came to see our big stage debut.
I sent home the children's lines for the Christmas play before the break. Please practice these daily. Below is a list of supplies we need for the next three weeks of holiday fun:
- 6 sheets of black posterboard (1 posterboard will make two soldier hats for our program)
- paint pens (all colors)
- red duct tape
- white duct tape
- black elastic (found in fabric section)
- a volunteer to make soldier hats for the boys
- 1 bag of large marshmallows
- 1 bag of Hershey’s kisses
- 1 package of edible markers (found in baking aisle)
- 1 bag of pretzel sticks
Parents, thanks again for all your support!!! I hope you had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!! Don't forget that Friday, December 4th is a student holiday--NO SCHOOL. Teachers will either be at the MAIS meeting in Jackson or doing on-site visits at schools in Memphis.
