A Peek At This Week
We've traveled through the land of Nursery Rhymes this week visiting some familiar and some new rhymes. We made Shoe Houses to practice the "H" brothers and cute Humpty Dumptys. We finished up the alphabet with the letters Xx and Qq. We are still working very hard on identifying and counting pennies, nickels, and dimes. You can help by practicing this at home. :)

Next week we will begin practicing on the stage for our school-wide Thanksgiving Play. Please drop your child off downstairs all next week so we can practice at 8:00 with the whole school. Our unit will be Thanksgiving. We will work on the word families -ap and -at. In Math we will continue to work on identifying and counting coins. Our play, "The Turkeys Go On Strike" begins at 10:30 on Friday, November 20. Please send your child to school in their brown outfits. Remember that parking is limited so you might need to park across the street at the hospital. It is best to come a little early to get a good seat. The Feast will begin at 11:30 and the students will be dismissed after the Feast. If you plan to leave early with your child, please let me know.
