A Peek at This Week What a fun week! The children have been writing about friendship and things they like. In Math we continued addition and did a little review on time and place value. Thank you so much to everyone who sent in items for our party and for all of our Valentine treats. The children were so excited about their Valentine boxes. They turned each one into a unique creation! Thank you to Tyler and his family for sending treats in honor of Tyler's Star Student weeks.

Next week our unit will be Presidents and American Symbols. In Math we will review addition and get ready to start subtraction. We will begin working on preparations for the SESAT 2 which the students will take in March. (Stanford Early School Achievement Test) "The SESAT 2 is designed to measure children's achievement from the second half of kindergarten to the first half of grade 1." We are also gearing up for our field trip to Healthworks in Tupelo on Thursday, February 25th. Details to follow soon!
